Scarlean

Formed in Avignon, Scarlean develops a wide-ranging alternative metal, where massive guitars, atmospheric textures, trip-hop accents and a melodic construction close to a cinematic universe cross paths. The French band gradually shapes its identity around working on contrasts, between rhythmic tension, expressive singing and more airy atmospheres, with tracks centered on questions of duality and humanity. Scarlean released its first album, Soulmates, in 2016, followed by an EP titled Catch The Dawn in 2018, before returning with Silence in 2023. This discographic evolution shows a project that refines its writing without leaving its metal base, broadening its spectrum toward more immersive arrangements. On stage, Scarlean participates in the circuit of European metal and rock festivals, with appearances at Hellfest and MetalDays, in contexts where the group shares the bill with acts from varied styles, from modern metal to industrial and experimental rock. Scarlean also extends its universe through a visual approach tied to video, animation and artistic direction, conceived as a coherent extension of its music.
