Seb Fontaine
Born in Hammersmith, in West London, Seb Fontaine established himself from the late 1980s in the British club circuit, first with London dates and then with a residency at The Fridge in Brixton in 1989. His career subsequently developed between London, Liverpool and Ibiza, notably through Cream, of which he became one of the resident DJs, in a style focused on house and its extensions, progressive and trance, with sets built for major clubs and festivals. In the early 2000s, Seb Fontaine broadened his visibility further by presenting a weekly show on BBC Radio 1, while continuing his work as a producer and remixer. His discography includes several compilations and mix albums linked to British club culture, including Cream Anthems in 1998, Cream Ibiza: Departures in 1999, Cream Resident in 2000, Creamfields in 2001, as well as the Prototype series between 1999 and 2001, then Horizons in 2002, Perfecto Presents: Seb Fontaine in 2003, Perfecto Presents: Type in 2004 and Type Vol. 2 in 2007. Seb Fontaine also formed the project Reflekt with Julian Peake, continuing a trajectory between melodic house, progressive house and trance accessible to large dance floors.
