Blossom Cult

Active since 2020, Blossom Cult builds a universe located between alternative metal and progressive metal, with songs that combine melodic choruses, heavy riffs, layered arrangements and atmospheric or orchestral passages. The band also works with the contrast between fragile intimacy and more abrupt surges, notably through a very mobile vocal that shifts from a restrained register to tenser expressions. The group’s first discographic milestones are the EPs Closure (2020) and Prequel (2021), which lay the groundwork for a conceptual songwriting approach focused on contemporary political tensions, technological acceleration and a sense of dislocation in the face of social frameworks emptied of meaning. With Home, the debut album announced for 1 May 2026, Blossom Cult extends this approach into a long‑form format, drawing in particular on collaborations with Leo Margarit, Andreas Kübler, Peter Voronov and Zach Ansley. In this trajectory, Blossom Cult operates within a modern metal scene where the progressive element primarily serves to broaden song form without breaking with the direct impact of the alternative.
