Sam Blacky

Born in San Diego, Sam Blacky divides her career between the United States and Australia, where she began producing and performing publicly before returning to establish herself on the American scene. Active as a DJ since 2017, Sam Blacky has developed a house-focused sound centered on afro house and latin house, with a club-oriented approach built on percussion, warm grooves and straightforward melodic structures. Her project took shape in 2021 with a first independently released EP, followed by a series of releases on labels such as Repopulate Mars, Terms & Conditions, Thrive Music and Easier Said. Sam Blacky also produced a remix for INJI, while her track “Amor” was reworked by Brazilian producer Illusionize. In DJ sets she performs across clubs and festivals from the United States to Mexico, with stops in Ibiza, Bali and on several European stages, favoring an electronic aesthetic designed more for the dancefloor than for pop format.
