Toscan Haas

Active on the Paris scene, Toscan Haas develops a mental, polyrhythmic techno shaped by an early background as a drummer, which still defines the strongly rhythmic construction of his sets. A resident and co‑organizer of the Spectrum nights, Toscan Haas builds selections by layering multiple tracks, creating a taut progression that brings together energetic cadences, tribal textures and darker pads. His approach sits on a precise techno axis—between hypnotic tension, progressive dynamics and percussive impact—in a lineage he himself links to artists such as Luke Slater and DVS1. In Paris he has been heard at parties like AGNST and MYST, as well as in several key venues of the local electronic circuit, including Concrete, Rex Club and La Station - Gare des Mines. Through Spectrum and his club appearances, Toscan Haas practices a form of techno conceived for extended time, movement and rhythmic density.
