Iban Mendoza

Born in Lleida and based in Ibiza since 2004, Iban Mendoza has built his career between the island’s club scene and a steady international circuit. He began at the afterhours venue Lucifer, holding a two-year residency characterized by long morning sessions—sometimes exceeding seven hours—within an underground-leaning electronic club aesthetic. From 2006 onwards he gradually established himself locally, playing in several Ibiza clubs including Space, Privilege, DC10, Amnesia and Pacha. In 2012 he performed a number of opening and closing parties at venues such as KM5, El Ayoun, El Amante, Nassau and Privilege, while releasing his first producer cuts on labels like Monza Ibiza Recs, Chronovision and Olé Music. In 2014 he explored a more underground direction through the Reverse project with Magnum Bookings. His activity has also taken him beyond Spain, with recurring dates and residencies in Switzerland, Ukraine, France, Algeria, the United Kingdom, Morocco, Italy, Turkey, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium, as well as at Barcelona’s CDLC. In 2014 Iban Mendoza received the Best Ibiza DJ award at the DJ Awards.
