The Codas

Based in Kingston, Ontario, The Codas have been developing since their formation in 2019 a repertoire positioned between alternative folk, indie rock and Americana. The Codas belong to the Canadian indie scene with songwriting focused on personal narratives, carried by three-part harmonies and arrangements where acoustic textures intersect with more electric surges. Their aesthetic remains restrained and melodic, with particular attention to the voices, instrumental nuances and a form of restraint that gives the tracks an intimate, direct character.
