Maebe

Active on the British instrumental scene, Maebe delivers instrumental rock at the crossroads of post-rock, math rock and progressive rock. Their writing is guitar-centred, featuring pronounced time-signature changes and a clear taste for melodic construction. Built around a three-guitar setup, the group works with thick textures, precise riffs and contrasts between tense sequences and more spacious passages, favoring an aesthetic that blends rock energy, rhythmic precision and progressive development without tipping into constant exhibitionism. Maebe largely established itself through live performance, sharing bills with Intervals, Alpha Male Tea Party, The Fierce & the Dead, Spotlights and Bicurious, which clearly places the band within the current instrumental circuit between prog, math and post-rock. In 2023 Maebe released their second album Rebirth. Relive. Repeat., and they have announced Brain Paint for May 2026, continuing a trajectory in which the band hones its balance between sonic density, thematic clarity and the instrumental format.
