Born in Frosinone, Italy, Sante Pucello, performing under the name Santos, began a career in the early 1990s spanning house, breakbeat, dance and electronic music. After his first works produced in the mid-1990s, he drew attention with releases on Mantra Vibes and later with the Santos & Sabino project, from which notably 'Lararari (Canzone felice)' emerged in 1998. At the turn of the 2000s, Santos refined a style based on robust house rhythms, broken textures and direct club energy, with tracks like 'Camels' in 2001, which helped his footprint on the British and international scene. His trajectory then led him to varied contexts, between European clubs, gigs in Japan and appearances on stages connected to breakbeat culture. Santos also released several albums, including R U Shakadelic? in 2001, Abrasive in 2004 and Home Sweet Home in 2006, alongside numerous singles and EPs. Remixes and collaborations punctuate this journey, notably in Fatboy Slim's orbit, while maintaining an identity centered on a flexible club electronic sound, at the crossroads of filtered house, breakbeat and funk accents.
