Mystery Kid

On the French electronic scene, Mystery Kid develops a DJ and production project that puts dark disco, EBM, rock accents and more percussive, breakbeat-like rhythms into conversation. Mystery Kid pushes these aesthetics toward higher tempos, favouring taut basslines, dark textures and shifts of pace, in a club format that remains frontal without losing clarity. Her first tracks appeared on the Italian label Nubians Of Plutonia Records; she then signed an EP with Pacotyson Records in France and released a track on Femnoise Records in Spain, consistently operating on the margins of dark disco. Identified in 2023 as part of the RIFFX initiative, she played that year at Printemps de Bourges, Astropolis, We Love Green and the Monumental Tour, and also performed at Madame Loyal, the Badaboum and Le Sacré in Paris. Mystery Kid has also extended her activity to radio, hosting a show on Disco Suicide in Berlin, appearing on Radio Vacarme in Brussels, then holding a residency on Rinse FM Paris and making appearances on HÖR in 2024.
