Julia Adriana

Based in Rotterdam, Julia Adriana develops a songwriting style that sits between indie pop, soul and acoustic folk, driven by a voice with a warm, mellow timbre and arrangements in which harmonies play a central role. Julia Adriana began singing in a family setting alongside her grandmother, who sang in a choir, before pursuing formal training at the Rotterdam Conservatory, from which she graduated in voice in 2022. This milestone marked the start of a more assertive period of personal composition. Her first EP, Homemade Love, released in 2025 and created with Anton van Room, collects tracks with organic, melancholic and understated textures, in an aesthetic that blends acoustic songwriting, contemporary pop and light soul. In 2025 Julia Adriana joined the Dutch touring festival Popronde, performing solo and with a band in 16 cities — from the opening at Stevenskerk to the closing at Melkweg — including stops such as Paradijsvogels at Paradiso, Know The Unknown at De Lieve Vrouw, Hit The City and Rapunzel Festival. Since late 2025 she has been working on a second EP, Too Late To Be Confused, co-written notably with Will Knox and Ciaran Lavery. Alongside her solo work, Julia Adriana also performs as a backing vocalist and songwriter, with a live collaboration with BLØF announced for 2026.
