Menk

Born in Saint Petersburg in 2017 before relocating to Berlin, Menk now performs as a duo centered on Jura Titov and Anton Viktorov. Menk develops a repertoire that sits between psych-kraut, neo-psychedelia, noise rock and experimental rock, with compositions based on textures, repetitive motifs, atmospheric guitars, deep bass and shifting rhythms. The project initially formed within the Russian independent scene and later found in Berlin a setting that suits its taste for open formats, long progressions and immersive atmospheres. In its current form, Menk tightens its language into a dialogue between tension and drift, with tracks that advance in layers, oscillating between contemplative passages and more abrasive surges. This aesthetic places Menk where contemporary psychedelia, kraut pulse and an experimental approach to rock intersect, without tipping into mere showmanship. On stage, Menk extends this logic through continuous sets conceived as sonic trajectories rather than a simple succession of songs.
