Doudou MD

Based in Amsterdam, Doudou MD develops a DJ practice focused on selection, operating in a register that moves between house, techno and minimal, with a marked taste for deep grooves, hypnotic textures and smooth transitions. Her trajectory was first built between Utrecht and Amsterdam, through engagement with local scenes and collectives such as SlapFunk and VBX, before a five‑year stay in Berlin. That Berlin period, informed by experiences at venues like Berghain, Hoppetosse and Ohm, helped refine her approach to the dancefloor and the way she constructs sets that are patient, mobile and attentive to the room’s dynamics. Having returned to the Netherlands, Doudou MD continues her work from Amsterdam while appearing on various European stages. Announced dates include Dimensions Festival in Croatia, UNUM Festival in Albania, The Loft in Manchester and Breakfast Club in Amsterdam. In her selections, Doudou MD brings together multiple intensities without committing to a single format, within a precise, warm and rhythmic club aesthetic.
