I Love You Honey Bunny
Based in Prague, Czech Republic, I Love You Honey Bunny develops an indie-pop sound that blends nervous guitars, direct choruses and electronic textures, with lyrics that also tackle contemporary social and political issues. The band first drew attention with a string of singles before releasing Cosmic Background Radiation in 2018, their debut album that established the foundations of a sound that is melodic, energetic and open to more synthetic arrangements. I Love You Honey Bunny then evolved their writing on stage, touring Europe and Canada and playing festivals such as Sziget, Rock for People and Colours of Ostrava. In 2023 the band released We Just Had a Wonderful Time, a second album written between Prague and Amsterdam, featuring contributions from Koen van der Wardt (associated with Klangstof) and production by Steven Graham Ansell of Blood Red Shoes. This period also included shows with The Vices and Rare Americans and culminated in an appearance at Eurosonic Noorderslag in 2024, further positioning I Love You Honey Bunny within the European indie circuit.
