Lele Sacchi

Based in Milan, Lele Sacchi has built since the mid‑1990s a career as a DJ, producer and radio presenter rooted in the Italian house and electronic scenes. After beginning in radio as a teenager, he became a resident at the Tunnel club in 1995, then worked in the record industry at Right Tempo before collaborating with the distributor White&Black. His approach blends house, deep house, disco and more leftfield nuances, with constant attention to groove and the interplay between club culture, track selection and production. His first compilation, The Next Tribes of House Music, was released in 1999. In Milan he later contributed to the development of the JetLag night at Magazzini Generali, in a context of opening up to international electronic scenes. As a producer, Lele Sacchi has released under his own name and under the alias Boogie Drama on labels such as 20:20 Vision, Get Physical, Soul Clap, MoodMusic and Snatch!. Alongside his club work he hosts radio formats and documentaries, notably Italian Masters for NTS Radio and In The Mix on Rai Radio 2, and is also involved in educational activities on the history of dance music.
