Ro Nova
Based in London, Ro Nova develops an electropop where 1980s-inspired synthesizer textures meet contemporary production and airy vocal lines. Singer, songwriter and producer, Ro Nova builds a universe that balances direct melodies, ethereal atmospheres and pop pulse without tipping into retro pastiche. Her emergence came with the single “do you think it’s fine?”, which drew attention from several UK radio outlets, notably BBC Radio 1, BBC London and Reprezent Radio. The Ro Nova project has also been supported by shows and selections from Harriet Rose on KISS FM and James Threlfall as part of BBC Introducing, placing her within a London electronic pop scene attentive to short formats, clear choruses and synthetic atmospheres. Through her releases, Ro Nova asserts concise and sensitive songwriting rooted in electropop but open to dream pop and synth-pop nuances.
