Kiko

Born in Lomé in 1998, Kiko, whose real name is Komivi King Fiagno, has developed in Togo a musical path that sits between urban pop, R&B, melodic rap and afrobeats. Active since the late 2010s, Kiko began in rap before broadening his range toward a more sung format, nourished by afro‑pop and R&B influences. His music moves between éwé, French and English, with songwriting focused on relationships, attachment and emotions, in tracks that alternate smooth vocal lines and more rhythmically phrased passages. After a first self‑titled EP, Kiko (2019), he followed with Idylle in 2021 and Agama in 2022, three projects that accompanied his establishment on the Togolese scene. Kiko works with the independent label Wèrè Wèrè Music, which oversees part of his production, and appears in 2023 alongside the duo Toofan on the track 'J’ai peur', featured on the album Stamina. In his videos as in his visual identity, Kiko also makes room for Togolese cultural references, notably through sets, clothing and the regular use of the éwé language.
