Blodmaane

Active in Denmark, Blodmaane operates within a blackened death metal vein that blends rhythmic violence, incisive guitars and dark atmospheres, while the songwriting also leaves room for progressive and more melancholic nuances. The project has made its mark on the Danish metal scene through several live appearances, culminating in a place in the Danish final of the Wacken Metal Battle and a spot at the Copenhell Wristband event. On stage Blodmaane develops a formula where sudden brutal accelerations, tight riffs and solos are interwoven with more drawn-out passages, a sense of contrast that shapes their identity. In January 2026 Blodmaane played two headline shows, at Headquarters in Aarhus and at Stengade in Copenhagen. At the same time the band released the single “Collide”, mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen, a track that extends this aesthetic with choral textures and string arrangements. According to information made public by the band, a debut album is also in preparation.
