Felo Skurt

Born in the Yvelines, in Mantes-la-Jolie, Felo Skurt has been developing an independently built project since 2015, initially recorded in his own workspace before taking on a more collective form. Felo Skurt operates in a trap-metal register that combines massive bass, rap-derived rhythms, taut guitars and an abrasive vocal delivery, with a marked taste for contrasts between saturation, urgency and more chanted choruses. His universe rests on songwriting where personal anger intersects with provocative satire, linked to social themes and a blunt, confrontational view of everyday life. In 2022 the project widened with the formation of SKB, a trio bringing together Felo Skurt, Woogie and Oglo, which reinforces the hybrid dimension of his music between rap, metal and darker textures. Woogie comes from several dub and trip-hop projects, while Oglo’s background is rooted in metalcore—two elements that illuminate the balance Felo Skurt seeks between rhythmic impact, rock tension and a more chaotic construction.
