Gabriel Gosse

French musician Gabriel Gosse is developing a personal project at the crossroads of contemporary jazz, funk, pop and electronic music. A guitarist, singer and composer, he builds a flexible musical language where melodic lines, groove and improvisation flow within often concise formats, with a marked attention to textures, hooks and dynamic variation. His career moves between the jazz scene and more transversal contexts, alongside artists such as Émile Parisien, Philippe Katerine, Georgio and Christian Scott, placing him in a network of collaborations ranging from improvised music to chanson and rap. Trained in a demanding musical environment, he distances himself from a strictly academic reading of jazz in favour of mobile music, vocal or instrumental, that blends worked harmonies, a funk pulse, electronic colours and a pop sensibility for production.
