Animø Virile

Animø Virile took shape in Lyon around a French duo that blends drums, violin, bass and electronic textures in a sound positioned between electro-rock and acoustic music. The project is built on striking contrasts between a physical pulse and more airy melodic lines, with a constant search for balance between softness, roughness, harmony and chaos. This combination gives Animø Virile a compact stage format, conceived as an immersive experience where rhythmic energy converses with a more subtle attention to timbre and atmosphere. In their pieces the duo favors direct structures, repetitive motifs and a readable emotional tension, without conspicuous stylistic effects.
