Chloe Lula

Detected language: French. Based in Berlin, Chloe Lula develops a practice at the intersection of techno, ambient and instrumental composition. A Tresor resident, she is part of an electronic scene where dark textures, slow progressions and dense atmospheres are central, with sets that explore deep, mental and sometimes abrasive techno without losing a sense of space. Her DJ career has taken her to places and formats such as Berghain, Boiler Room and Movement Detroit, as well as clubs and festivals across Europe, Asia and the Americas. As a producer, Chloe Lula has released tracks on Tresor Records, James Ruskin’s Blueprint and P.E.A.R.L.’s Falling Ethics, following a trajectory that bridges club techno and more experimental sound research. This dimension also extends to her work as a cellist: in 2024 she released Oneiris on James Ginzburg’s Subtext, an instrumental album accompanied by an audiovisual project. Alongside her musical activities, Chloe Lula also works at Resident Advisor, where she produces and hosts talks and workshops at festivals such as Nuits Sonores, Dekmantel, Unsound and Wire.
