DJ Hazard

Under the name DJ Hazard, Scott Molloy has built a career since the late 1990s rooted in Birmingham, central England, and in the UK drum and bass scene. Active as both DJ and producer, DJ Hazard is known for a direct, dense jump-up aesthetic characterized by highly mobile basslines, dry rhythms and a strong sense of club impact. He was spotted by DJ Hype while producing for Formation Records, DJ SS’s label, and later became associated with Playaz Recordings as well as Real Playaz and Ganja Records—important fixtures in his trajectory. He has also released under the aliases Dirty Harry and Vague via Radius Recordings. His discography includes Busted / 0121 (2007), Mr Happy / Super Drunk with Distorted Minds (2007), Machete Bass EP (2008), The Platinum Shadows EP (2010) and Bricks Don’t Roll EP (2014). Active on both rave circuits and in clubs, DJ Hazard has been regularly linked to Playaz events, notably at fabric in London.
