ToxicRose
Founded in Stockholm in 2010, ToxicRose emerged in the Swedish hard rock and sleaze metal scene with songwriting centered on riffs, melodic choruses and a dark aesthetic derived from 1980s glam and heavy metal. The band first drew attention with the EP "ToxicRose" in 2012, then broadened their scope on the album "Total Tranquility" in 2016, combining direct energy, razor-edged guitars and an ear for anthemic hooks. Tracks like "A Song for the Weak", "Reckless Society" and "World of Confusion" defined this early phase and placed ToxicRose on the European sleaze and metal circuit. In 2018 the arrival of bassist Johannes Sandberg marked a new stage, coinciding with the single "The Fallen Ones", recorded with Martin Sweet of Crashdïet and mixed by Chris Laney. After that relaunch, ToxicRose continued its evolution with "In for the Kill" in 2022, maintaining a nervous, melodic and often theatrical hard rock vein while staying rooted in the Scandinavian identity that shapes them.
