El Verbo Odiado

Formed in 2012 in Huesca, in northern Spain, El Verbo Odiado operates within an alternative indie rock vein sung in Spanish, with a focus on melodic guitars and straightforward song structures. The band's first album, «Tú ganas» (2018), was recorded at La Mina studios in Seville with producer Raúl Pérez, a collaboration continued for «Nada que celebrar» (2020), which extends this independent rock aesthetic rooted in the Spanish alternative scene. In 2022 the group released «El último homenaje», this time produced with Carlos Hernández Nombela at El Castillo Alemán studio, marking a move toward a denser sound while remaining within an accessible indie rock register. Initially associated with the Subterfuge label, El Verbo Odiado began a new phase in 2025 under Intromúsica, with an album announced for the same year and production entrusted to Santi García, confirming the Huesca band's intent to keep developing within the Spanish‑language independent scene.
