Ismael González

Rooted in today’s Spanish pop scene, Ismael González has developed from Extremadura a career as a singer‑songwriter blending melodic pop, flamenco‑pop and rumba with Latin influences. After early stage appearances in contests, festivals and musicals, he featured on several Spanish TV shows — including Factor X, Tú sí que vales, Tú sí que sí and Cover Night — which broadened his national audience. On record he released his debut album Ahora soy in 2015, followed by Resiliencia in 2019, and then a series of singles that continue the mix of romantic ballads, festive rhythms and more intimate material. He has occasionally collaborated with various artists from the Spanish scene, such as Maki, Pedro Javier Hermosilla and Aurelio Gallardo. Alongside concerts across Spain, Ismael González hosts a weekly slot on the radio show Café Olé on Radiolé, where he composes personalised songs for listeners. From 2024 he released the EP Escúchame and launched the Escúchame Tour, while continuing to write new material in the studio.
