Salvation

Active on the Marseille punk rock scene since 2017, Salvation originally brought together Pierre-Emmanuel and William, musicians from the same milieu, before forming into a trio. Salvation develops melodic punk rock rooted in the Californian tradition of the 1990s, featuring fast tempos, chorused refrains and direct songwriting, in a vein recalling Green Day, Blink-182 or NOFX as much as Simple Plan or Uncommonmenfromars. After an initial run of shows in Marseille and the surrounding region, and shared bills with acts such as Anti-Flag, Not Scientists, Skating Polly and Maid of Ace, the band recorded its first album, “Uncorrectable”, released in January 2022 and comprising twelve tracks. Despite the pandemic context, Salvation managed to present this repertoire live while undergoing several lineup changes. The band then continued writing new material, released a video for the track “The Great Dumb Show” at the end of summer 2025 and is preparing a second Salvation album announced for 2026, continuing an energetic, melodic punk rock strongly marked by nostalgia for the 1990s.
