DJ EZ
Born in London and raised in Tottenham in the north of the British capital, DJ EZ developed his craft in the pirate radio scene before becoming a prominent figure on the 1990s house and UK garage circuits. Initially active as Easy O, he DJed on Dance 93FM and later on Freek FM, where he honed a mixing style defined by fluid transitions, rhythmic precision and rapid blends between vocal house, London garage and bassline. DJ EZ later moved to Kiss 100, where his regular shows from the late 1990s until 2014 played a significant role in spreading UK garage across the UK. His career is also tied to London clubs and events such as Garage Nation, Pure Silk and Sidewinder — dancefloor-focused but always accessible. In terms of releases, DJ EZ issued the EPs 4 Track E.P. (1998), The Next Chapter EP (2002) and One for All EP (2002), and the single Just Turn It Up / The Overground (2003). He also produced a notable remix of B-15 Project’s Feels So Good in 2001, and his name is associated with the Pure Garage compilations and FabricLive.71 in 2013.
