Electric Guitars
Formed in the early 2010s in Denmark around guitarists and singers Mika Vandborg and Søren Andersen, Electric Guitars crafts a rock sound built around the interplay of two guitars, drawing on classic rock, melodic hard rock and blues elements. The band operates as a duo core supported by a rhythm section that changes according to the project, allowing Electric Guitars to alternate between beefy electric lineups and more stripped-down settings. The release of the self-titled album "Electric Guitars" in 2013 established a repertoire based on direct riffs, structured solos and multi‑voice choruses, followed in 2015 by "String Fever", which refined that songwriting toward tighter song formats. Since then, Electric Guitars has combined touring and recording—primarily on the Danish rock scene but also abroad—with a repertoire that favors live energy, clear song structures and a prominent guitar sound, without a marked experimental bent, maintaining a deliberate continuity with the rock tradition of the 1970s and 1980s.
