The Spitters

Born out of the independent scene in Toulon, in southern France, The Spitters bring together four musicians—Max, Dorian, Sloog and Barny—around a taut rock that crosses garage revival, ’77 punk and pop-leaning melodic lines. The band drew attention in 2014 with their first album, “Crazy”, released on Death to Majors Records, which established The Spitters’ sonic foundation of abrasive guitars, fast rhythms and catchy choruses. Two years later, “Movement” (2016) broadened the spectrum toward a more contrasting palette, before “Critical Strike” (2018), still on Death to Majors Records, refocused the project on 1970s punk influences and a deliberately lo-fi aesthetic marked by a direct intensity that also recalls certain 1980s touches. On stage, The Spitters develop this mix of garage, punk and pop melodies through tours across Europe, festivals in France and dates in the UK, notably in London and Brighton. In 2020 the band signed with international label Tentacles Industries and recorded “Kitty Brain”, produced by Lo Spider and released in 2022, which condenses The Spitters’ approach into short, frontal and melodic songs, extended through shared shows with various international rock acts.
