Izzy Escobar

With Cuban and Italian roots, singer‑songwriter Izzy Escobar grew up in Massachusetts, where she initially trained in classical music—particularly the violin—before turning to piano and songwriting. Izzy Escobar has developed a pop repertoire with soul and R&B accents, centered on voice and melody, with songs often built around piano and personal lyrics. From the late 2010s she released her first tracks online and was gradually noticed through digital releases and live sessions in which she improvises and composes from everyday situations. This practice fosters a very direct aesthetic in which Izzy Escobar foregrounds introspective compositions, ranging from slow ballads to more rhythmic pieces. Active on stage as well as on video and audio platforms, Izzy Escobar continues to write and record intimate vocal pop shaped by her dual cultural heritage.
