Hallfield

Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the Hallfield project centers on a core of musicians from the Canadian west’s punk rock and hardcore scene, channeling that energy into a distinctly alternative setting. Since its inception in 2022, Hallfield has recorded and released a trilogy of EPs that explore different moods while maintaining a unifying thread of punchy guitar riffs and catchy vocal lines. The band operates as a flexible lineup, designed for both studio work and live performance, allowing Hallfield to tailor its formula to specific contexts and occasional collaborations. Musically, Hallfield moves between alternative rock, punk-influenced touches and more melodic elements, with direct, rhythmic songwriting focused on the song.
