Anthony Joubert
Born in Arles in the Bouches-du-Rhône, Anthony Joubert has developed, since the early 2000s, a career that spans one-man shows, acting and comedic songs. He wrote his first show at 19, Entre père et fils, before being noticed on television in 2008 during the third season of La France a un incroyable talent, where he finished fifth with his character William de Fly. Anthony Joubert went on to co-present La France a un incroyable talent, ça continue with Jérôme Anthony from 2009 to 2011, and became one of the regular comedians on On n’demande qu’à en rire on France 2 from 2011 to 2014, performing sketches built around characters, everyday situations and a very oral style. His stage work moved from stand-up to more theatrical forms, with William de Fly in 2010, One man show in 2011, Saison 2 in 2013 and again in 2015 and 2019, Le spectacle qui n’a jamais été écrit in 2016 based on improvisation, J’aurais voulu être un chanteur in 2017, and À quel moment ça a merdé ? in 2024. He has also pursued acting, appearing on the big screen in Michaël Youn’s Vive la France (2013) and on television in Plus belle la vie (2022) and Plus belle la vie, encore plus belle (2024).
