Formed in Detroit, Michigan, the duo Frank-N-Dank brings together MCs Frank Bush (Frank Nitt) and Derrick Harvey (Dankery Harv) around a style of rap rooted in the city’s independent hip‑hop scene. Active since the late 1990s, they gained visibility within the Slum Village circle and through an ongoing collaboration with producer J Dilla, who helped shape much of their sonic identity.
