Bull Brigade
Born in Turin in the mid-2000s, Bull Brigade took shape in 2006 around singer Eugy, who emerged from the local Oi! punk scene after stints with Banda del Rione and Youngang. Initially the band developed a sound rooted in street punk and Oi!, featuring direct choruses, a dense rhythmic drive and lyrics focused on street themes, collective identity and engagement. As lineups changed, they incorporated punk rock and hardcore elements, toughening their approach without abandoning their melodic base. This evolution crystallised on Strade Smarrite (2008), their first album often cited within the Italian scene, and continued on Vita Libertà (2016), which broadened the group's sonic spectrum. Bull Brigade then played regularly on punk stages in Italy and several European countries, moving within a network where Oi!, hardcore and street punk intersect. In 2018 they released a split with the Spanish band Non Servium, a milestone that confirmed their ties to the European scene. From the start Bull Brigade has remained committed to a direct, collective aesthetic sung with intensity, between Italian punk heritage and an openness to more hardcore forms.
