Dom Glynn & His Sunday Best

Centered on songwriter and guitarist Dom Glynn, Dom Glynn & His Sunday Best formed out of London’s bar and small-venue scene, where Glynn long performed a repertoire rooted in traditional American country. That live work shaped songwriting that sits in the lineage of classic country, honky tonk and restrained roots folk, with a clear taste for direct melodies, everyday storytelling and fingerpicked guitar playing that references both country traditions and acoustic folk-blues. Initially a solo act, Glynn gradually gave his songs a collective shape with His Sunday Best, a band established in 2023, to develop a broader sound without losing the stripped-back approach of his beginnings. Since then Dom Glynn & His Sunday Best have played stages across Britain and Europe, appearing at festivals such as Maverick, Black Deer, Ramblin’ Roots Revue, Rotterdam Bluegrass and Static Roots. In 2025 they launched their first tours of continental Europe followed by the UK, in a format focused on songcraft, dance and the conventions of honky tonk.
