Baskery

Formed in Stockholm in 2007, Baskery brings together sisters Greta, Stella and Sunniva Bondesson in a trio that blends alternative country, folk rock and Americana with a dry, driving energy anchored by vocal harmonies, banjo, guitars and double bass. The group built on an initial shared experience in The Slaptones, releasing the EP One Horse Down in 2007 and the album Fall Among Thieves in 2008. Baskery then broadened its scope across Europe and North America with New Friends in 2011 and Little Wild Life in 2013, while touring festivals and circuits in the folk, rock and roots scenes. Based for a time in the United States — first in Nashville, then in Los Angeles in 2014 — the band steered its songwriting toward a more direct approach without losing its acoustic foundation. The trio has shared stages with artists such as Seth Lakeman, Robbie Williams, Brandi Carlile and Gary Clark Jr. Their studio discography continues with Coyote & Sirens (2018), V: End of the Bloodline (2023), and The Young Sessions - Live To Tape (2024), an album of Neil Young covers recorded in a live spirit.
