Franziska Berns

Born near Offenbach am Main in Germany, Franziska Berns trained early in Frankfurt's electronic scene. Her career began at the Freebase Records Shop, where she deepened her musical knowledge, honed her digging ear and developed a steady DJ practice through encounters within the local scene. From that foundation, Franziska launched her own party series across several clubs in the Rhine‑Main area, which gradually led to a residency at Robert Johnson in Offenbach, a central pillar of her artistic base. In her sets she navigates between minimalist breaks, rhythmic techno with playful accents, and selections focused on sometimes little‑heard records, seeking a balance between dancefloor energy and smooth transitions. Now based in Berlin, she has expanded her activity across Europe and performs at clubs and festivals such as Berghain and Panorama Bar in Berlin, Breakfast Club in Amsterdam, Butik in Slovenia, Waking Life in Portugal and Lost Village in the UK, positioning her work within a network of electro scenes oriented toward demanding yet accessible club music.
