Edoardo Florio Di Grazia

Born in Florence into a Neapolitan family and raised between the Amalfi Coast and central Italy, Edoardo Florio Di Grazia has developed a singer‑songwriter practice at the crossroads of Italian chanson and narrative folk rich in Mediterranean imagery. Based in Paris, he writes and composes drawing on a practice of collecting stories, which he transforms into texts that blend real ports and imagined squares — from Amalfi to Tangier, Belleville to Florence. A PhD in medieval history from the University of Florence, he feeds his writing with historical research, popular narratives and literary references, giving his songs both a documentary and an intimate dimension. Alongside his songwriting, Edoardo Florio Di Grazia authors podcasts, presents radio programmes and works as a DJ/selector, using these formats to explore little‑known repertoires and connect music from varied scenes and eras, in continuity with his work as a researcher and storyteller.
