Sully Burrows
Canadian country singer-songwriter Sully Burrows grew up in Parry Sound, Ontario, learning piano, then drums and guitar while playing on local hockey teams. The grandson of former NHL defenseman Dave Burrows, Sullivan James Burrows began writing his own songs around age 15 and graduated from Rosseau Lake College in 2024. Initially headed for a sport management program at Brock University, he shelved that plan in the summer of 2024 to devote himself fully to music. Burrows signed with Partners Record Label and released “Youth” (2024), followed by “Think of Me” in January 2025—records that positioned him in contemporary country with straightforward melodies and lyrics rooted in everyday life. In spring 2025, he opened several dates on the Andrew Hyatt and the Ten Year War Tour, then issued his first radio single, “Rally Around,” which reached the top 20 of the Billboard Canada Country chart. That same year, Sully Burrows received the Emerging Artist Award at the CMAOntario Awards and made the finals of the SiriusXM Top of the Country competition, before collecting his early tracks on the EP “Somewhere in a Small Town,” released on October 10, 2025 via Partners / Royal City Music Group.
