DJ Falk

Born in Lørenskog, Norway, under the name Jarle Falk Reiss, DJ Falk has since the late 1980s developed a career as a DJ, singer and author in the field of electronic music, between house, trance and synthpop. Later based in Stokmarknes, he builds a live activity anchored in the Norwegian club and event circuit, with performances both in small rooms and on larger stages, up to the Svalbard archipelago. It was in Longyearbyen, in 1996, that he launched the concept 'The Arctic Dance Experience', aimed at melodic and atmospheric electronic music nourished by polar imagery. DJ Falk subsequently releases several singles on Hot Club Records, including Unknown in 1996, Millennium Children, Hymn to Elin and Northern Lights in 1999, before the album 'The Arctic Dance Experience' in 2008. His discography from this period also includes tracks such as Heile Nettet, Skywalking, Atmosphere, Counterstrike, Life and The Awakening, released in the same year. DJ Falk is also associated with remixes and live shows mixing dance music with visual devices, notably laser performances presented in northern Norway.
