Give em Blood

Formed in 2009 at the heart of Austria’s metal and hardcore scene, Give Em Blood operates within a metalcore vein that mixes massive riffs, staccato rhythms and more melodic passages. The five-piece pairs predominantly screamed vocals with calmer vocal lines over structures that play on tension and release, moving between dark atmospheres, sudden brutal accelerations and heavy breakdowns. Across their studio releases in the 2010s, Give Em Blood refined a writing approach focused on rhythmic impact and the expression of a certain melancholy, working contrasts between dense sonics and more open sections. Onstage the band has made its mark across European venues and festivals, with notable appearances at Resurrection Fest in Spain and Rockstadt Extreme Fest in Romania, while also playing numerous club shows and regional tours. Now firmly embedded in Austria’s metal and hardcore landscape, Give Em Blood continues an active schedule of recordings, tours and participation in specialized festival circuits.
