Zoltan Kaszas
Born in Budapest in 1987, Zoltan Kaszas grew up in Hungary before emigrating to the United States as a child. Raised by his mother, he discovered stand‑up and began performing at nineteen. The Hungarian‑American comedian develops an observational style centered on everyday life, social dynamics and cultural gaps, which he mainly performs on North American stand‑up stages. His career has been shaped by numerous festivals and competitions, with notable appearances at the Seattle International Comedy Competition, the San Diego Comedy Festival, the San Diego Funniest Person Contest and the Rockstar Energy Drink Comedy Throwdown, while continuing to tour clubs. Kaszas reached a wider audience with his Dry Bar Comedy special “Cat Jokes”, an excerpt about cats and dogs that circulated widely online and was picked up by outlets such as The Guardian and The Atlantic. He has appeared on Netflix Is a Joke, on Fox’s Laughs, on SiriusXM Comedy and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and he has released several video shows in parallel — including Modern Male, White Lies, Honorary Jones and London Fog — distributed directly on the internet.
