Maneva

From São Paulo, Brazil, Maneva brings together five musicians around Tales de Polli on vocals and guitar, Felipe Sousa on guitar, Fernando Gato on bass, Diego Andrade on percussion and Fabinho Araújo on drums. Active since the mid‑2000s, Maneva has established itself in the Brazilian reggae scene with Portuguese‑language songwriting that blends reggae, pop and chanson over supple, melodic rhythmic foundations. Over the years the band has developed into a full‑band format, nourished by collective playing and an accessible approach to reggae, without limiting itself to a strictly roots aesthetic.
