DEAFDEAFDEAF is a post-punk group from Leigh, Greater Manchester, formed in 2020 around vocalist Nathan S. Hill, bassist Ellis Whittle, guitarists Jack Findlay and Louis Grayson, and drummer Connor Alder. Their sound, nourished by shoegaze, post-punk and alternative rock, cites The Smiths, Joy Division and My Bloody Valentine as influences while injecting a modern intensity that has earned them a devoted cult following. On stage, DEAFDEAFDEAF deploys abrasive walls of sound driven by Hill’s haunted vocals, which probe nihilism, love and agony. After several tours across Europe and the UK, including sold‑out dates in Amsterdam and Paris, the band ended a two‑year hiatus with the release of “Sweet Thing,” marking a shift toward an even denser, more emotional sound.
