Thaïs

Trained on Lyon’s improv stages, Thaïs Vauquières, born in 1992 in Lyon, began her career performing with a university troupe where she regularly practised improvisational theatre. Before writing her own material, the comedian spent about five years performing pieces by other authors, including productions of «Le Tour du monde en 80 jours» and «J’aime beaucoup ce que vous faites», which established her work in the field of comedy. This experience led her to create her first solo show, «Hymne à la joie», co-written with director Stéphane Casez and first presented at the Boui Boui in Lyon, where the one-woman show ran for an extended period. Between 2018 and 2019 Thaïs shared the bill for the play «Amoureux» at the Théâtre de Dix Heures in Paris with comedian Titoff, while simultaneously developing «Hymne à la joie» at the Petit Palais des Glaces in 2019 and then at the Comédie Montorgueil from early 2020 to early 2021, before a subsequent run at the Théâtre du Gymnase. Off stage, Thaïs Vauquières has appeared on television in «Piquantes !» on Téva, took part in the new edition of «Tattoo Cover» on TFX, and each week presents guest portraits on Bruno Guillon’s «Le Bon Dimanche Show» on RTL.
