Autopilot

Based in Saskatoon, in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, Autopilot operates in an alternative rock register nourished by power pop, direct guitar work and melodic choruses. The band, formed as a trio, has grown on Canadian and American independent scenes through regular touring activity and a steady release pace between albums, EPs and singles. Autopilot builds its music around an energetic format, with a marked taste for tight structures, rising tension and writing that blends pop immediacy with rock intensity. This identity has been strengthened over several releases, including the album Caution! in 2012, Make a Sound in 2014 and Afterglow in 2018, before extending into more recent releases. Autopilot has also circulated at various live events in North America, with appearances at festivals and conferences dedicated to independent music such as Canadian Music Week, Indie Week, Mesa Music Festival or Millennium Music Conference. In 2025, Autopilot is among the artists nominated for the Saskatchewan Music Awards in the category Rock Artist of the Year, a milestone that sits within the journey of a band firmly rooted in the Canadian independent rock circuit.
