Benthos

Born in Milan, Benthos belongs to a branch of progressive metal where mathcore, post-hardcore and psychedelic accents intersect. Benthos emerged in the early 2020s with II, released in 2021, a debut album that laid the foundations of its songwriting: complex structures, vocals alternating between frontal energy and more open passages, and a taste for dense compositions without tipping into showmanship. The band continued on this trajectory with From Nothing in 2025, released by InsideOut Music, expanding into a broader format while retaining the balance between rhythmic precision and direct impact. On stage, Benthos has operated in contexts dedicated to progressive and experimental metal, notably at the Euroblast Festival, and also supported Between the Buried and Me on their European tour in the summer of 2025.
