Katarsis

Active on the Lithuanian music scene, Katarsis develops a project positioned between rap, pop and electronic music, with particular attention given to lyrics and the voice. Katarsis’s tracks, released mainly in digital form, explore a melodic register where hip‑hop‑inspired rhythms, sung choruses and more atmospheric soundscapes intersect, in an aesthetic close to urban pop. Over the years, Katarsis has released numerous singles and collaborated with other local artists, building a repertoire focused on personal experience and everyday life, often in Lithuanian. On stage, Katarsis translates this studio work into a live format that emphasizes performance and closeness to the audience, whether in clubs and concert venues in Lithuania or at international events linked to Eurovision, such as Madrid’s PrePartyES. This regular online and regional-stage presence allows Katarsis to gradually anchor their identity in the contemporary Lithuanian musical landscape.
