Wolverave

Under the name Wolverave, Paul Samra develops from Bordeaux a project focused on the most intense forms of electronic music. As a French producer and DJ, Wolverave operates within a hard techno register nourished by influences from other high‑intensity currents, notably hardstyle, raw and certain textures from bass music. His path began well before this orientation: for more than ten years Paul Samra explored and produced varied aesthetics — from dubstep to future garage, via midtempo and trap — before returning to techno, a language closer to his earliest references. This trajectory is evident in Wolverave’s sound, built on fast rhythms, direct structures and a pursuit of impact that retains traces of past experiences. Wolverave thus articulates a dense, frontal club music in which hard techno’s energy combines with more abrasive accents and a hybrid approach to contemporary electronic musics.
